Welcome to the world of the Angelheart Saga
Welcome to the website of YA author Annie Woods! This is the place to be if you’re looking for more information about the Angelheart Saga trilogy or about YA books in general.
My Friday reading tips this week is the adorable, sweet and quirky feel-good YA romance To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before by Jenny Han. I flew through the pages of this cute chic-lit love story, not able to put it down until I’ve read it all. Lara Jean is now one of my favorite characters ever, and I absolutely love the Song family dynamics. This book is just as much about family bonding as it is about teenage crushes.
The bookstagrammer, florist and book reviewer Kimberly Reich has recently reviewed Forever Disguised. Some of all the wonderful things she said about the book was that
“It is a great story line and it has an amazing message. That whatever happens to you, you will never lose your core.”
“And I loved how Annie displayed the relationships. She showed not only the good but also the bad. The struggles they both have to face and the moments of true love.”
“And I cannot wait until the next book.”

Each month I try to summarize the reviews, book tags, bookstagram pics and other ways my books in the Angelheart Saga series (First Came Forever and Forever Disguised) have been talked about. So, here’s the monthly wrap-up for November of the most wonderful, gushing, gorgeous reviews, the cutest and funniest book tags, author interviews and more!
Thank you to all of you who have written about the book, shared your pictures and just been so supportive and kind to me. I love and adore you all and am so grateful!
This week I’ve read Restore Me by Tahereh Mafi, the fourth, additional book to the original Shatter Me-trilogy, that has now most likely been turned into suite of six books. I really, really loved the original trilogy, so I was so excited when I found out that the series continued in Restore Me. But unfortunately, I didn’t love this book quite as much as the previous ones.
”I truly loved this story, it was one of the reads that I couldn't put down. I kept reading and devouring it. I honestly fell in love with the description of these places, it made me want to travel so bad! Also, the characters were so interesting! I loved even more the secondary characters and let me tell you right here that I am team Tyler all the way!!”
”I also loved the twists and turns. I seriously didn't see them coming! Francesca, the cliffhanger near the ending? I just can't!! This book was really lovely and so interesting!”
”I can't wait to read the continuation and I strongly recommend it!”

Today I did my first attempt to participate in #swapwednesday, and it was quite harder than I thought... Well, anyway, in case you don't know what this is, you take inspiration by another bookstagrammer's photo and try to recreate it in your own style. I tried to swap Julcsi's (@jayinbookland) gorgeous photo, which is one of my absolute favorite photos of Forever Disguised ever, with a similar photo of The Cruel Prince by Holly Black. What do you think? Did I get it anywhere near right…?

I was tagged by the lovely bookstagrammer @all_books_great_and_small to answer the question “What book or books do you wish you could unread so you could read them again?” Thank you love, this is such a great question!
It would be The Raven Cycle by Maggie Stiefvater for me! I wish I could read the series for the first time all over again.
With the holiday season just around the corner, Julcsi in Bookland (@jayinbookland), is hosting an amazing giveaway of a signed copy of First Came Forever.

My Friday reading tips this week is one of my most anticipated releases this year and the sequel to one of my favorite books ever, the lovely The Lady’s Guide to Petticoats and Piracy by Mackenzi Lee. I loved, loved, loved the first book about the Montague siblings, The Gentleman’s Guide to Vice and Virtue, and it was so wonderful to be back in their world again.
“I totally recommend this book to everyone, as soon as you start reading it you will be hooked, oh and by the way I’m Team Sasha. I give this book a rating of 5 out of 5 stars. Amazing read.”
“I absolutely love the writing style of Annie, it’s full of emotion and she knew exactly how to write every single detail, the characters were written amazingly too.”
“There’s also LGBT representation on the book, which is awesome and I was absolutely shipping that couple!”
