Welcome to the world of the Angelheart Saga
Welcome to the website of YA author Annie Woods! This is the place to be if you’re looking for more information about the Angelheart Saga trilogy or about YA books in general.
I was tagged by the amazing author, reader, blogger, designer, editor, physicist and teacher (to mention a few of all the things she does…) M.C. Frank to do the Find the Word Tag. (Read my Sunday Spotlight on M.C. Frank to find out more about this absolutely outstanding person and her wonderful books!)
I’ll be answering about my upcoming novel, Forever Disguised, which is the second book in the Angelheart Saga trilogy. This romantic YA series follows 18-yearold Erica Lindell as an unexpected meeting changes her life forever. It’s a heart-wrenching story about friendship and first love and the devastating consequences a mistake can lead to. Find out more about the series here and don’t miss the cover reveal for Forever Disguised on June 7. (Do you want to take part of this and/or the upcoming blog tour? Click here to sign up!
The words I was given was eyes, breathe, sky. So here we go:
The lovely book blogger Veverica Books just posted an absolutely fabulous review of First Came Forever on Goodreads, saying inter alia that
“I love this story!!!!!”
“I like Erica so much. She is strong, beautiful and brave character.”
“I highly recommend reading this book!”

The lovely bookstagrammer @bookmagnolia tagged me to do the #shadesofmagicalbooks. Thanks, love!
So, here we go:
The lovely book blogger Dwells in a book Tunnel has read and reviewed First Came Forever. Some of the amazing things she said in her review was that:
“It indeed was a delightful read and do recommend it. I rate this book 4.5/5.”
“I really loved the set of character. Each of them stood out with their persona. The plot of the story is quite fascinating with a very lucid narration.”
I was tagged a while ago by the gorgeous bookstagrammer Lisa (@noahjace_bookishlife) to do the #booksandheroes tag, so here it is:
I was recently tagged by the lovely bookstagrammer @laviniareads to do the #spellthedayinbooks tag. This one was harder than expected, so I had to cheat a bit on the titles... but here it is:
M - (The) Mortal Instruments series by Cassandra Clare
O - (Ready Player) One by Ernest Cline
N - No Ordinary Star by M.C. Frank
D - Divergent by Veronica Roth
A - A Court of Frost and Starligth by Sarah J Maas
Y - (The) Young Elites by Marie Lu
Feel free to do the tag too!
The Sunday spotlight series is a way for me to share the love and support I’ve received from the wonderful book blogging community since the release of my book First Came Forever. Every Sunday I will shine some light on an amazing blogger, bookstagrammer or other lovely book community person.
This week the spotlight is all on the amazing author, reader, blogger, designer, editor, physicist and teacher (to mention a few of all the things she does…) M.C. Frank.
The book blogger Chezreadz has a wonderful author interview series that I really recommend to check out and that I'm so happy to be a part of. This Friday, Chezreadz published a loooong interview with me, talking about everything from what being an author means to me, to which in sight message I try to bring across to my readers, my favorite cliché, if I prefer bad boys or the boy next door, first or third person pov, love triangles or falling in love with the best friend, insta love or hate-to-love, to what’s on the top of my bucket list. Read the full interview here: Author Interview: Annie Woods
My Friday reading tips this week is the magical No Vain Loss, the epic finale of the spellbinding and fascinating YA sci fi trilogy No Ordinary Star by M.C. Frank. I absolutely loved this fast paced, beautiful and emotional story of how two unlikely people change the world, and each other.
“First Came Forever is special in so many ways, it’s a story where fairytales come true, instigating the princesses in us. But yeah, that doesn’t mean guys can’t have a go at it unless, of course, you want to miss discovering an enchanting story...”
“The story is fresh and well built, covering everything from love, friendship, to jealousy and misunderstandings. I was a little worried initially as I thought it might turn out to be similar to the Prince and Me movies, but thank God! It’s nothing like that.”
“For all young adult romance lovers, go and grab this book as soon as possible. I’m so glad I got the opportunity to read it, and I’m eagerly and quite impatiently waiting for the next book in the series.”
