The lovely bookstagrammer and book reviewer Julcsi in Bookland (@jayinbookland) just posted her gushing review of First Came Forever on her bookstagram, saying that she “loved the book and I encourage you to read it, too!” Some of the other wonderful things she said about the book was that “I really enjoyed reading this book. It’s a fast-paced romantic story that keeps your eyes glued to the paper and makes you read a fair number of “just one more chapters”.” and that “I was also pleased with the LGBTQ+ representation in the novel. In many cases, the story of the LGBTQ+ supporting character is limited to coming out or issues sprung from homophobia. In this book, however, the way the boys feel about each other is also described, and their relationship is talked about by their friends in the same way as Erica’s and Sasha’s. It was also refreshing to see how naturally the author brings to life the intimacy between two boys. This is definitely a nice touch missing from many novels with straight main characters.” Read the full review here: First Came Forever by Annie Woods
