What a wonderful review by Darque Dreamer Reads, and with such a nice Q & A interview: "First Came Forever by Annie Woods and author Q & A" Some of the wonderful things that Darque Dreamer Reads said about the book is that "I could not have predicted how much I would love this book! When I made it to the end I was speechless!" and "I could not put this one down and I loved every minute of it! I loved the pacing, the romance, the twists and turns, and the characters!" Darque Dreamer Reads recently made this really fun book tag for The Burn, Rewrite, Reread Book Tag, where she choose three books for each round and for each such round decided which one of the three books to burn, which one to rewrite, and which to reread (a lot like Kiss, Marry, Kill). In the fourth round the result was (in order, Burn, Rewrite, Reread): “Revenant: Blood Justice just had too much that I did not enjoy. The Girl From the Well had a great premise, but story felt muddled. First Came Forever is one of my new favorites that I look forward to rereading before book 2 comes out!!” So happy that First Came Forever was included in this fun book tag, and that it was selected as the Reread choice. So wonderful to learn that it is one of Darque Dreamer Reads' new favorite to reread!
Tea With Rose's Tomes has a new book tag called The Bookshelf Tour. Every three or four months she will be doing a post of her bookshelf, to show how it evolves and to talk about old and new favorites. I am so happy that First Came Forever (The Angelheart Saga #1) is included in her bookshef as one of the new favorites. Click here to view the review Tea With Rose's Tomes did for it a while ago.

My favorite at the moment is Kit Harrington as Sasha in First Came Forever!! Also, Andy Black from Black Veil Brides as Kaz Brekker from Six of Crows ;-P Yes, I totally agree! Kit Harrington would make the perfect Sasha! Read all of Darque Dreamer Reads answers here: The Liebster Award My publisher, Pegasus Publishers, has made a book trailer for First Came Forever! For the tag “Comfy Sweaters - a book that gave you the warm and fuzzy’s” the choice was First Came Forever. So happy, really getting all the warm and fuzzy feels! Here is the wonderful description by Danielle from The Introverted Book Nerd:
Comfy Sweaters - a book that gave you the warm and fuzzy's First Came Forever by Annie Woods. Oh my, did I fall in love with this book! I’m still surprised I love a contemporary romance as much as I do! Ugh. This book gave me all the feels. The tag was created by Shanah from Bionic Book Worm who’s also done all the graphics. Darque Dreamer Reads recently made this really fun book tag for The Princess Bride Book, where she listed her books for tags such as "Westley: Favorite Romantic Hero": Thomas Cresswell in Stalking Jack The Ripper by Kerri Maniscalco, "Princess Buttercup: Favorite Rags to Riches Story": Mechanica by Betsy Cornwell, "Prince Humperdink: Villain You Love to Hate, or One You Just Think is Funny": Shadow and Bone by Leigh Bardugo, and for "As You Wish: A Book With a Sweet Romance": First Came Forever!
So happy that my book is listed among such a wonderful list of books and for such a fun tag! This gorgeous Aesthetic Board was made by Darque Dreamer Reads after reading First Came Forever. I love it so much! It’s just so pretty and on point, exactly mirroring the feelings I have for the book! Thank you so much Darque Dreamer Reads for this wonderful board! I love bruschetta! (Actually, I love all Italian food.) In First Came Forever, Erica makes a bruschetta for dinner one night, which inspired one of the readers so much that she had to make her own bruschetta. In case you feel the same, I have Erica’s recipe here: Ingredients: 5 or 6 ripe plum tomatoes 2 cloves garlic 4 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil 1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar 6-8 leaves (about ¼ cup) fresh basil leaves 1-2 teaspoons sea salt ½-1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper 1 baguette or similar Italian bread Cut the tomatoes into small dices. Peel the garlic cloves. Mince one of them (save the other for later). Slice the fresh basil leaves thinly. Mix all ingredients together with olive oil, vinegar and sea salt in a bowl. Slice the bread diagonally into 1 cm slices. Take the saved garlic clove and use it to rub the bread slices. Drizzle with olive oil and put into the frying pan for a few minutes. When the slices are turning golden brown, put them on a serving platter. Place the tomato and garlic topping on each slice of bread and finished with some fresh basil leaves, sea salt and freshly ground black pepper. Bon appétit! Extract from First Came Forever: “Yes, well, luckily you don’t have any say,” Erica interrupted with a smile, then turned her focus to the frying pan. She put the diagonally sliced baguette, rubbed with garlic and drizzled with olive oil, into the frying pan for a few minutes. When the slices begun to turn golden brown, she put the bread on a serving platter, then placed the tomato and onion topping on each slice of bread and finished with some fresh basil leaves, sea salt and pepper. “There.” Taking a step back she rubbed her hands and looked at the plates. I'm so happy and proud right now! First Came Forever just gets so much love from all you readers and reviewers, it's utterly overwhelming! Here is a wonderful, sweet, gorgeous review by Danielle, The Introverted Book Nerd, starting with these words: “OH MY GOSH YOU GUYS!! This book utterly blew me away and left me in a state of shock. The feels. Wow. I’m having a hard time coming up with coherent thoughts.” Some of the wonderful things she said about First Came Forever was
"I loved the cast!! It’s not everyday when I read a book where I feel so connected to the characters. I cared so much for everyone! All you LGBTQIA lovers will be happy to hear that there is a m/m representation in this book as well! I shipped that couple so hard! My heart is just bursting with love." and "I just could not put this book down! If it wasn’t for life and responsibilities getting in the way, I most definitely would have read this cover to cover in one sitting."
