The Angelheart Saga praised for diversity

“I am overjoyed by how diverse the plot is, it includes a variety of modern day concepts, such as cultural and genre diversion and a lot of female empowerment!”

I am so proud and happy for the wonderful reviews of the three books in The Angelheart Saga series by tata.lifepages. It especially makes me glad that the books are praised for their diversity and for the strong characters.

Here are some of the wonderful words from each review:

“This book was a delightful surprise! I couldn’t put the book down because I was so eager to find out what was going on.” - Book review: First came forever, (Book 1, Angelheart saga) by Annie Woods

“This second book from the Angelheart Saga got me hooked from the beginning! I was craving to know what happened to the characters since book 1 ended in a cliffhanger I couldn’t wait to read the sequel. I love how diverse this story is, genre wise as well as relationship-wise.” - Book review: Forever Disguised, by Annie Woods

“I took my time into reading the third and final book of the Angelheart saga, I didn't want it to end! I loved the third book even more than the previous books, I felt attached and connected to the characters and didn't want to let them go. The story reads like a beautiful fairy-tale, it will make you weep and trust me I did.” - Book review: Beyond Forever, by Annie Woods

“This trilogy is the opposite of a slow-read. The pages fly in your hands.”

Review of Beyond Forever by Jay In Bookland

The recent review of Beyond Forever by bookstagrammer Julcsi (@jayinbookland) is honestly the finest thing I could ever have hoped for to be said about my books. Julcsi is such a wonderful and insightful person who I learn so much from. She always manages to see the larger perspective and explain things that I’ve missed or been too naïve to see for what they are. It therefore means the world to me that she has enjoyed my books and thought the LGBTQ+ characters to be credible and written with respect.

Some of the wonderful things Julcsi said in the review was that:

“Beyond Forever is the third and final book of the Angelheart Saga. It is a YA romance trilogy that features a straight couple as the main characters, but its world is just as diverse as ours: it has LGBTQ+ characters (not just one!), it speaks up against poverty, homelessness, homo- and transphobia, it features characters from different ethnic and cultural backgrounds and these are only a couple of examples.”

“Annie Woods is honestly the most supportive person I have met on Bookstagram and her respectful attitude reflects in the The Angelheart Saga books! I have seen her support the Black Lives Matter movement and she has spoken up about LGBTQ+ issues many times. Once, she also got in touch with me when she saw that I had been the object of disrespectful comments because of my queer identity. I will always be grateful to her for this.”

I am passionate about fighting injustice, racism and homophobia, and I want to contribute in every way I can, even though I only have a small platform as an indie author. That’s why I think it’s so important with diverse books and LGBTQ+ representation in YA and why it was necessary for me to have that in my own books, and also why I try my best to share and promote others. Reading gives you such an amazing opportunity to see the world through someone else’s eyes and to educate yourself. We all need to share the experience and views from as many different aspects as possible, to make this world a more open-minded, emphatic and better place. It therefore means the world to me that Julcsi has enjoyed my books and thought the LGBTQ+ characters to be credible and written with respect. Honestly, that is the finest thing I could ever hope for someone to say about my books and I am just so happy and honored right now!

“Everyone should read these books”

Since the release of the third book in the Angelheart Saga, Beyond Forever, there has been such an amazing buzz and so many wonderful reviews, posts and shoutouts for the books. Thank you from the bottom of my heart!

For example, Laura at Lost in a Book Review saying that “I strongly believe that everyone (aged 15+) should read the Angelheart Saga, these books cover such important topics that some find difficult to discuss, for example, the difficulties faced by people who are transgender and, people who are struggling to tell their friends and family that they're gay. I said it in my review of book two but I'm going to say it again, I applaud Annie’s bravery for including these topics in her book and congratulate her for doing it perfectly!”

Additionally, Pareesa at opaqueelove, said that “Beyond Forever is a beautiful book. The book allows you to experience mature romance and feel Erica’s dilemma. Annie Woods has done a commendable job at creating her characters. All main characters of the book Erica, Sasha, Tyler are designed with perfection.” You can find Pareesa’s full review here: Review Beyond Forever

Irma, at Irma the Book Whisperer, also gave Beyond Forever a 5 star rating, saying that ”Beyond Forever is a beautifully written story of healing, letting go, and making room in your heart for hope and love. This story as well as the two prior help you remember that all the hardships you go through are only temporary, you will always grow and come out better in the end. I had some jaw dropping moments. I swooned, I cried, I gasped, I truly felt so many emotions. I feel like I knew these characters. Like they were real people. Again I fell completely in love with Erica and Him, even if He did deserve my wrath sometimes.” You can find Irma’s full review here: Review Beyond Forever

Thank you to everyone who has sent congratulations and made such amazing posts, photos and shoutouts for Beyond Forever and the other books in the Angelheart Saga! The beautiful photo above is from Jenny at levicorpvs_.

First Review of Beyond Forever

You guys, the first review of Beyond Forever is here!!! It’s by one of my favorite book reviewers, Elsa Gomes (bookstagram @bookishaurora) and it’s absolutely fabulous!
Picture
Here are some of the wonderful things she said about the book:

“This final installement in Erica, Sasha and Tyler’s story is super angsty, frustrating and very addictive. Once I got into the story and everything started unravelling I couldn’t stop reading. So much was going on, so many plotlines progressing, everyone was slowly getting their ‘happy ending’ except the three main charaters and for a while there I thought she really wasn’t gonna end up with either of them. But she does don’t worry. This book ends with and HEA and a little cliffy into what I think will perhaps become a second generation series. One can only hope.”

“Beyond Forever was an amazing, angst filled and even suspenseful conclusion to the series. I was on the edge of my ‘mental’ seat waiting to see what happened next and who Erica would live happily ever after with. This book packed as many if not more punches as the other books, it was filled with all the royal or otherwise dramas, the murder plots, amazing friendships and family relationships and, of course we can't forget, the epic loves.”
